And Carpenter Ants make...how many?
Yes, according to the over-the-phone evaluation from our Termite company, we very well may have Carpenter Ants. Now, we have a yearly contract with a company who inspects for termites and we pay for this, so if we get termites, we won't end up with thousands of dollars in clean-up costs. But...this warranty ONLY includes termites. So now we have to pay them up to $250 to treat the disgusting little critters. They say it's most likely the ants b/c the sawdust flakes are large. And of course they can't get out with their bug goggles and chemicals until May 25th. So we'll be sharing our home for the next 2 weeks with these little critters that completely freak me out. I can't stand bugs.
And the best part is they are in the girls' playroom. So I'm waiting to receive information on the chemical they will use so I now how long I have to kick my kids out of their play area.
I just hope the damage isn't too extensive - although I don't even know how we'd figure that out without taking the wall down. Ugh!!!

$250.00? Oh crud, I'm so sorry. Sorry that you have to live with them for 2 weeks too.
Yikes! I hope this is a quick process for you guys!
Oh, man, when it rains it pours!! Hope they get it resolved quickly once they come out.
