Saturday Photo Hunt
This week's theme is Hobby.
Here is a picture of J's hobby. He is rebuilding a 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. It's his passion. It's a very long project due to the amount of money it will take, but it's moving along, even if slowly. Currently, we only have a frame in our garage - the next step is to do some welding of body parts. Here is a pic of the car when he first bought it - we were dating at the time...

Now that's a hobby I wish I can do! My step-dad had a 1974 Ford Maverick with some cool looking slicks on it, if I had the money I would definitely locate one and rebuild it just like his. Thank you for sharing.
:)
Happy Hunting
Wow, i bet it will look great when it's done!
OH yeah restoring a vintage car is pretty expensive.
One of my brother rebuilds cars, mostly Chevys, and he does amazing work but it certainly takes a lot of time and effort. I would imagine that when it'd done, your husband is going to have one fine looking car!
Cool Wheels! I bet Kayla will cool driving that when she's 16 (lol) :)
I have friends who restore old cars and enter them in car shows...such a pleasure to see them all shiny and new again!! Wonderful hobby for sure:-) Have a great weekend!
Oh what a pang. My late husband had a Barracuda and we dated in it so often. The memories are still so very strong. I hope the rebuilding is all J hopes it to be.
My neighbor rebuilt a Studabaker and his wife would get him little parts here and there for Christmas. I remember them talking about getting a bumper chromed for his birthday present. Nice pictures.
