Friday's Feast
Appetizer
Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?
I have a pretty long scar on my left foot. I had a bunion (sp?) in college and it was so painful I had to have it removed via surgery. Due to nerve damage, I actually had a total of 3 surgeries on it - so the scar is much longer and bigger than it should be. I also had a scar in my belly button and along my bikini line (tiny ones) from laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis.
Soup
What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?
Both my girls. Kayla was conceived from IVF, but she is actually "explainable" as it was medical science that helped us conceive her. Alysa was conceived the "old fashioned way" and was a complete surprise. Plus, with all my infertility issues which were still present, it was amazing she was conceived, let alone hung on long enough for me to find out I was pregnant. I was starting to miscarry when I found out I was pregnant.
Salad
Name a television personality who really gets on your nerves.
Rosie O'Donnell - she is uterally obnoxious and has no clue about anything she spouts off about.
Main Course
What was a funny word you said as a child (such as "pasketti" for "spaghetti")?
I don't know of a word. But once, I actually told someone that my name was "Jabberwalkiejoke" which was my nickname. My parents stopped calling me that from that moment on.
Dessert
Fill in the blank: I have always thought ______ was ______.
Children/are to be cherished.
