What's worse than taking care of 2 kids when one of them is sick? Taking care of 2 kids when BOTH of them are sick. Poor Kayla can't win. Just when she gets over the Virus, she gets the cold Alysa had last weekend. Then today, Alysa decides to sleep in until 8:30! Ordinarily, I'd do a happy dance (now if only both of them could do that on the SAME day). But, she was fussing in her sleep on and off since 5am. So at 8:30 when she started fussing, I went up quietly to check on her. She was laying there looking at me, looking quite miserable. I picked her up and she was quite hot. So now, she has the virus (101.4 fever). So far, she has not been sick (knock on wood). But she's your typical miserably sick baby. Didn't want to eat much for breakfast and was all cuddles. I admit, I enjoy that party. And by 9:30, she was yawning and rubbing her eyes. So I put her upstairs and she was asleep within minutes.

So I have 2 miserable kids and I'm stuck in side all day. Yay! :) And of course, I woke up with a sore throat and cough. Can't beat that, right?
