I wanted to wish Happy Birthday to two very special friends. Dawn and Angel. Dawn’s birthday was yesterday. Her and I met while we were going through Infertility. She was a wonderful support to me during that time – and I hope I was to her as well. Her oldest and Kayla are 7 months apart. Then, we found out we were pg with our 2nd on the same day. She had done IVF again and Alysa was the Shocker of a Lifetime. So it was unexpected. They are 3 weeks apart in age. She is now pg with #3 – her Shocker of a Lifetime and I couldn’t be happier for her.

Angel and I met in college. We hit it off right away. We were roommates – placed together by chance. Everyone there thought we’d known each other for years. We just clicked and could finish each other’s thoughts the first weekend. We have been Best Friends ever since. We are going away this coming weekend to Lancaster for a Girl’s Weekend Shopping Extravaganza. I can’t wait. The trip was initially meant to be as a celebration for my 30th this past April. But her b-day is TODAY, so it’s a mixture. Our Lancaster trips are special to me. It was our last trip there, 3 years ago, that I was in the midst of my IVF that ended up giving me Kayla. She even gave me an injection. Now there’s a TRUE FRIEND! And to make it more fun, I won $100 in our football pool at work (the 2nd week in a row). So I have some extra, guilt-free $ to spend.
