Food Surrounds Us
Yesterday our school's newsletter came in the mail. Excluding the school budget information, out of 18 articles, 8 involved food. They were either about field trips (past and future) or activities that involved food, or projects and events that revolved around or involved food.

The pre-k at Jasons school are taking a field trip to a National Brand bread bakery. It gives me goose bumps :(
The food issues and school parties at Josh's school made me cringe.
One time I saw a photo of him eating Indian fried bread, that almost made me cry, because no one told me he'd be eating anything that day.
And the birthday parties, with the cupcakes, cookies, candies, and juice. Josh knows now to take what he's going to eat to the nurses, but even then I still cringe around his eating at school.
Wow that is seriously crazy, but I must say in a world where people are obsessed with food it doesn't surprise me.
Here in TX the kiddos don't go on field trips to food driven places, they usually stick with the basics i.e. zoo, musuems, parks.
