Weekend
Well, I'm pretty sure now that Kayla's hives last week were from a virus. They were apparently the first symptom. She had diarrhea on Thursday and barely ate anything on Friday. She never got a fever, but she's still not 100%. Friday she was crying all day and miserably clingy. She's at least over that part. But starting last night she's been suffering from on and off gas pains. She had trouble going to bed then she was up from 12:30am to 3:30. So J and I are exhausted today as well as her. She napped for 1 hour today and then was up screaming in pain. She was finally able to go potty a few times since then, so the worst is hopefully past us. I was able to get out to Target yesterday, but other than that it's been a low-key weekend.
But some exciting new from me. My camera is due to arrive tomorrow - 1 day early! I am SO psyched. Tomorrow can't come soon enough!
I just got back from taking the girls on a walk. It's absolutely beautiful here. A bit windy, but it's warm, so that's the most important thing. Kayla has developed a fear of bumble bees and flies. So it makes our walks interesting. Every time she sees one I have to carry her and push Alysa. My arms are tired. :) She's never been stung by the way, but when we went to a local nursery to pick up some annuals, she walked into a bumble bee and he flew through her hair. She didn't like it much.
Well, I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. I'm looking forward to my week of learning how to use my new toy.

I hope Kayla is feeling better and I hope Alysa doesn't get it!
Both my boys are on "bee patrol". I don't know why they are so afraid of them (Jason got stung last year, but I can't believe he remembers that). Mark wouldn't play on the swing set today for fear that bees would get him. It's not like we have swarms of them. Maybe one or two. Crazy kids!
Hope you enjoy your new camera. I'm off to a spa party in a few minutes for some mom time and I can't wait :)
I'm sorry to hear it was a virus, but at least now you know there wasn't anything in the house she was allergic too. I hope she's feeling better and has a better night!
Can't wait to see all the new photos you are going to take! Get a postin' soon!
